Leeds United loanee Joe Rodon has highlighted his displeasure with the Whites’ inability to score unneeded goals this season, stating that it is something they want to improve on.
Daniel Farke‘s men have been guilty of allowing early goals in each of their last two league games. Swansea and Middlesbrough were the opponents.
They have recovered from those early defeats, however, and have won on each occasion.
Though Rodon is happy with his team’s remarkable rebound, he says that defensive togetherness is something they want to improve.
“I haven’t been what I wanted to be in the last couple of games.” What matters is the reaction and winning the games.
“But of course, this is what we look to improve on and hopefully, we can get back to that.”
In terms of overall goals surrendered, Leeds have been the league’s third-best defensive squad among the top six.
