Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has been displeased with one player, who is anticipated to be sold this summer.
Tanguy Ndombele a French midfielder, joined the Premier League team in a high money deal, but he has failed to impress.
Tottenham has leased out the former Lyon midfielder several times, but the 27-year-old has struggled in each of those transfers.
Ndombele‘s career has taken a turn for the worse since arriving from Lyon in 2019 for a club record £63 million.
Speaking on the Chris Cowlin Podcast on YouTube, well-known transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano stated that Ndombele is one of the players who would surely leave the team this summer.
He said, “He’ll depart. That’s the idea. Obviously, I believe it is one to watch in the summer since it is too early to tell whether there will be an opportunity in Europe or in a different market – it is a possibility.”
Ndombele is preparing to quit Tottenham
The midfielder’s contract with Tottenham is slated to expire in June of next year, less than eighteen months from now.
While it’s too early to determine where Ndombele will finish up, Romano believes he’ll depart Tottenham.
Given the amount of money Spurs had to give up, Ndombele’s entrance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium had fans anticipating big things.
He might be Tottenham’s worst signing.
It may, however, have been the most disappointing purchase the squad has ever made.
Ndombele is someone the Lilywhites want to sell at the end of the season.
If they are unable to find a buyer, the French international might depart the squad for free next summer.
Postecoglou’s assessment of Ndombele during their brief meeting last summer suggests that the manager is unimpressed with the French midfielder.
