Despite the fact that he is only a pundit, Carragher appears to be very confident when talking the ins and outs of the game.

Carragher has spoken in after David Ornstein laid out the cold, hard truths about the Forest situation this week.

Carragher grew up rooting for Everton. With that in mind, it appears he is using his position to try and get things done in favour of the Toffees.

He feels Everton could avoid further punishments despite being found guilty alongside Forest this time.

Carragher said on the Stick to Football podcast that Everton’s latest sanction comprises two from the previous two years. So they’ll say, ‘We can’t get six points after having being punished. I believe Everton will get one or two points, while Forest will definitely get six.”

Nobody knows what Forest will get.
In our opinion, the current scenario is simply terrible. The fact that it is taking so long is getting everyone irritated.

Carragher is unsure of what will happen, but one thing is certain: it doesn’t seem likely that Forest will lose more than six points.

There is no one who is benefiting from the whole thing continuing. Even Brentford and Luton would be happy to see the Premier League get its act together.

Nick De Marco was chosen to defend the team’s position, so Forest will be hopeful he can pull through.

Every week that goes by, Carragher seems to have a new take on the matter; perhaps, things can be settled quickly and the backbiting can cease.
