Former Leeds United striker Leigh Bromby has questioned whether the Whites have enough consistent goal scorers to get them through the season.
Leeds only managed a 1-1 draw at Elland Road against Coventry City on Saturday, allowing them to close the gap on the top two in the Championship.
Leeds struggled to convert their chances at home against Coventry, and Bromby insisted that there was nothing wrong with Daniel Farke‘s tactics or the way Leeds played at the weekend.
He emphasised that the issue was goal scoring, and he is sceptical that Farke has enough options in the squad to consistently find the back of the net for the rest of the season.
“What was crucial was scoring goals, so do they have enough in that position?”
“Do they have enough bench players to rotate?” At the moment, it appears that Daniel lacks confidence in changing that to someone else.
“Is that a problem?” Has he actually gotten the players to fill that position in which he truly believes?”
Leeds United will look to get back on track with a win against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
