‘It’s a hamstring,’ says Ange Postecoglou after Tottenham’s win over Bournemouth

Tottenham may have defeated Bournemouth today, but it came at a cost as Pape Matar Sarr became the latest player to be hurt.

Spurs have already been decimated by injuries this season, and Sarr left the pitch in discomfort today.

It was another stinging blow for Postecoglou and Tottenham, who had been heartened moments earlier by Rodrigo Bentancur’s return to the starting XI.

The Uruguayan arrived much sooner than expected. However, as one returns, another departs, and it appears that Sarr has been lost for some time.

Sarr has a hamstring injury, according to Postecoglou, who spoke to the BBC after the game.

“It’s been a consistent for us.” I’m disappointed for Pape [Matar Sarr], but I’m not sure to what extent. He’s gutted because it’s a hamstring. “We’ll have to let others take the lead,” Postecoglou stated.

Tottenham’s injury to Pape Sarr is a significant blow.

When it comes to injuries, the Spurs‘ bad luck looks to be continuing this season. They are experiencing a nightmare and appear to be encountering a new problem with each game.

Hamstring problems are always a concern, and Sarr’s reaction suggests that he is expecting the worst.

With injuries, several clubs appear to be written off for the season. It’s worse than ever, and Tottenham isn’t the only team suffering.

Ange, on the other hand, will experience a lot more pain than other managers right now.

To be honest, the fact that they are still only three points off the lead is rather extraordinary.

Hopefully, for both Sarr and Tottenham, this injury is not as serious as first feared and he may return to action shortly.

If not, and it is serious, Spurs‘ January ambitions may be jeopardized once more.
