Ivan Toney will jump at the opportunity to play Tottenham manager.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer, notably by signing a centre-forward.

Ivan Toney, a Brentford striker, has been strongly linked with a move to North London. Journalists and club insiders have recently revealed that Tottenham are seriously considering signing the Premier League star.

Tottenham News reports that Ivan Toney will ‘jump at the chance’ to join the North London team.

According to the report, a source close to the club says the 28-year-old is interested in joining the North London club, implying that he wants to play under Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs are particularly in need of a new number nine after Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich last summer.

The gap Kane left has yet to be effectively replaced. Richarlison has struggled to live up to expectations.

Despite his current form, he is anticipated to be moved this summer if Spurs receive an attractive offer. Son Heung-min can play up front, although his best position is on the left flank.

Ivan Toney, with his Premier League experience and goal-scoring skill, could be an ideal fit for Tottenham.

Tottenham targets Ivan Toney’s impressive track record.

Ivan Toney has regularly demonstrated his talent in the Premier League, making him a desirable acquisition for Tottenham.

Last season, he scored 20 goals in 33 Premier League games, ranking third in the league after Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

Toney has been a standout for the Bees since his arrival, scoring 72 goals and assisting 23 times in 141 games.

With the summer transfer window approaching and other major clubs also interested in the striker, Spurs will need to act quickly to acquire Toney’s signature and solve their pressing need for a proven goalscorer.
