Tottenham Hotspur has produced several outstanding players in recent years, and another is on the rise.
Jamie Donley is the player in question, and he has been photographed in training ahead of Tottenham‘s match against Liverpool.
Tottenham‘s website posted photographs of its players in training on Thursday, ahead of Jurgen Klopp‘s Reds’ visit to N17.
Donley appears in a photograph labelled, “Deki, Ben, Destiny, Jamie Donley, Eric Dier, and Pape in non-bibs team.”
It’s amazing to watch the 18-year-old work among the seniors, especially with such an important game against Liverpool coming up.
It is not only a testimonial to his quality and potential, but he will also receive some excellent guidance from his peers.
‘He’s one to keep an eye on.’
Donley has been making waves at the Tottenham academy and is expected to be a future star for the club.
In six Premier League 2 games this season, he has a whopping six assists and one goal.
Donley also shone in the EFL Trophy, scoring twice and assisting once against Colchester.
Donley has been characterised as a “natural footballer” who is “elegant and skilful” by The Athletic‘s Jack Pitt-Brooke.
Earlier this year, he stated on the View From The Lane podcast that the teenager is regarded as “the best of his generation” at N17.
“I think the best young player they’ve got is a lad called Jamie Donley,” Pitt-Brooke stated.
“He was born in Northern Ireland; I’ve seen him play, and he was good in that game.”
“He’s a natural footballer, spends a lot of time on the ball, is elegant and skilled.”
“He was in attacking midfield, but I understand he can also play up front.”
“He’s very highly rated and is thought to be the best of his generation coming through at Tottenham at the moment, so he’s one to watch out for.”
