Jurgen Klopp has provided a vital injury update on several first-team players ahead of Sunday’s match against Brighton, including Darwin Nunez, Ibrahima Konate, and Curtis Jones.
Liverpool face the Seagulls in their first meeting since the March international break, with the Reds requiring all three points against the south coast club in their quest for the Premier League crown.
DARWIN NUNEZ AND IBRAHIMA KONATE AVAILABLE VS. BRIGHTON
In his pre-match press conference on Friday, Klopp revealed that Nunez and Konate would be ready for the game against Roberto De Zerbi‘s side, however not everyone is healthy for the weekend.

Implying that Klopp‘s side is capable of capitalising on missed points for at least one team in the championship race.
However, injuries continue to be a source of frustration for Liverpool.
With Klopp providing an update on several of the club’s key players ahead of Brighton‘s visit.
“Curtis, I am not sure if he is available, but he is back in training. “Ibou was an extra rest day, nothing else,” Klopp explained.
“[Andy] Robertson will take things gradually. He won’t train today [Friday], but it’s not as serious as we expected.
“The other boys, starting next week, step by step. I believe they will participate in parts of team training before moving on to team training, so we will see what happens.
They’re not far away, but not quite there yet, so they all take their steps – it’s good.
“[Darwin] is fine.” He finished his rehab during the week and trained somewhat on our first day back, and he has been in full training since then.”
Liverpool will have to wait a little longer, according to Klopp, for Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Stefan Bajcetic, and Alisson to return to play, though all are expected to be ready in some form by the end of April.
