Kris Moore, a Leeds United defender, has signed a loan deal with Scottish Premier League club Hibernian, reports TEAMtalk.
On January 9, the UK news site announced that the youthful 20-year-old defender has decided to join Hibs on loan till the end of the season and has joined the team in their warm weather training camp in Dubai.
The 20-year-old has been a regular with Leeds‘ Under-21s team and was rewarded with a new two-year contract over the summer.
This is a terrific opportunity
Moore is a highly rated talent who has fallen victim to Daniel Farke‘s strength in depth at Elland Road.
His best position has been central defense, however he is clearly behind all of Liam Cooper, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk, Charlie Cresswell, and possibly fellow youngster Diogo Monteiro.
The fact that Cresswell is currently unable to play for Leeds United served as a reminder to Moore that he needed to go out on loan in order to obtain the necessary experience.
Playing in the Scottish Premiership against Celtic, Rangers, and Aberdeen should provide an excellent opportunity for the highly regarded youth product to progress and develop his game even more.
If he wants to make it into the first team at Elland Road, he must demonstrate his abilities, and he is unlikely to get a better opportunity than today to do so.
Cresswell should seriously consider following him in making a temporary transfer somewhere to really improve his game. In other Leeds news, authorities will hold negotiations with Euro club over a £4 million deal this week, with personal terms no problem.
