Leeds United are accelerating their pursuit of two January loan signings, according to sources.

According to Football Insider, Leeds United are interested in two loan signings ahead of the January transfer window.

Daniel Farke and his recruitment team are scouring the market for all positions in order to improve the Whites squad for their promotion push in the coming year.

Djed Spence Leeds

Leeds have space in their matchday squad for two loan players, with Djed Spence, Joe Rodon, and Jaidon Anthony already on loan at Elland Road.

The Yorkshire giants are thought to be looking for players who are struggling for game time in the Premier League to fill those openings in January.

A reliable source has also told Football Insider that Leeds will have enough money to make additional permanent signings if necessary.

Rodon has started 13 of the Whites’ 15 Championship games this season, making him the most successful loan import.

Joe Rodon

Spence, who followed Rodon from Tottenham to Leeds, has made just one appearance but is close to returning to action after a knee injury.

Anthony, who joined on a season-long loan from Bournemouth in the summer, has scored once in 12 appearances.

As the race for promotion to the Premier League heats up, Leeds are looking for more reinforcements.

Jaidon Anthony

The Whites blew an opportunity to close the gap on second-placed Ipswich by losing two points away at Rotherham on Friday (24 November).

This result also allowed Leicester City to increase their lead over Farke‘s side to ten points.

Leeds play Swansea at home on Wednesday (November 29) before hosting Middlesbrough on Saturday (2 December).
