According to journalist Alan Nixon, Leeds United is now seeking a loan deal for promising youngster Sean McGurk during the January transfer window.
Despite a number of midfielders blocking his entrance into the Leeds club during the summer transfer window, McGurk remained at Elland Road.
Leeds, though, have reconsidered his situation and now feel that McGurk requires more playing time than what the Under-21s can offer.
When the window reopens in January, they plan to send him out on a loan stint and are amenable to offers.
Leeds will probably give McGurk‘s destination some thought as they try to find the best fit for the 20-year-old.
With his efforts in the Premier League 2 this year, McGurk has drawn attention.
In six games, the youthful player has scored three goals, including a brace in a victory over Stoke City at home.
McGurk will be hoping that a successful loan stint away from Elland Road can place him in Leeds manager Daniel Farke‘s mind.
