Leeds United have a sell-on clause on a striker they sold, yet he’s scored four goals in four games.

Max Dean, a former Leeds United striker, is garnering interest from clubs following his recent form for MK Dons.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Dean’s recent form in front of goal has ‘alerted scouts’ across the ‘British Isles,’ with Leeds owning a sell-on clause in any transaction.

Following the appointment of Mike Jackson, Jesse Marsch‘s assistant manager at Leeds, by MK Dons in the January transfer window, Dean joined him down south.

Dean didn’t get much playing time under Jackson, who was fired after MK Dons were relegated to League Two last season.

Dean’s form is garnering attention, and Leeds has a sell-on clause.
Former Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson has subsequently replaced Alexander, allowing Dean to continue where he left off.

Dean has scored in MK Dons‘ last two games, bringing his record to four in four, and has helped the club earn maximum points in games against Bradford City and Swindon Town.

Dean was always behind the likes of Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood in terms of young strikers with the most potential throughout his tenure with Leeds‘ U23s. His goal-scoring record, on the other hand, was usually impressive.

He scored 16 goals in 38 games for the youthful Whites, so his departure was received with a sense of disappointment, even if he was always unlikely to make it at Elland Road.

However, with their stated sell-on clause, Leeds could be about to gain from his superb run of form at MK Dons if a bid arrives in January that is too good to turn down.
