Leeds United is aiming for a versatile midfielder who has 10 assists and 18 goals.

Tyler Goodrham, a midfielder for Oxford United, is apparently Leeds United’s target as they try to bolster their roster during the January transfer window.

Football Insider claims that Sunderland, Coventry City, and Swansea City have also expressed interest in the highly regarded 21-year-old, making him one of the EFL’s most sought-after players.

In the race for automatic promotion to the Premier League, Leeds leads Sheffield United by just one point and is currently leading the Championship table. In order to keep up their momentum in what looks to be an extremely tough season, manager Daniel Farke is eager to bolster his team.

Leeds is interested in Tyler Goodrham, a rising star from Oxford.

Goodrham is a very adaptable player who can play on either side of the midfield and in a variety of positions. This season, he has performed exceptionally well for Oxford United. He has made 28 appearances across all competitions, providing four goals and three assists, bringing his total to 18 goals and 10 assists in 125 games for Oxford across all categories. He is under contract with the League One team until 2027.

He made his Oxford debut in an EFL Trophy game in 2019 at the age of 16 and 98 days, becoming him the club’s youngest-ever player.

Prior to solidifying his position in Oxford’s first squad, he was able to obtain invaluable experience during loan stints at Slough Town and Hayes & Yeading United.

In August 2022, the Irishman made his League One debut, and he celebrated with a thrilling injury-time victory over Cambridge United. Since that time, scouts from all around the Championship have taken notice of his performances.

Goodrham‘s addition would provide Leeds‘ team much-needed originality and adaptability. He is a perfect match for Farke‘s team, which is vying for promotion, because of his versatility in both central and out wide play and his ability to perform when it matters most.

Goodrham‘s potential for future expansion is also consistent with Leeds’ long-term goal of creating a team that can contend at the Premier League’s top level.

Goodrham would provide originality and adaptability to Leeds‘ team if they signed him. His potential for further development and his ability to influence games fit in well with the club’s goals. Furthermore, Goodrham might find the allure of joining a squad with genuine Premier League ambitions to be a strong argument.
Activity is anticipated as the window’s last ten days draw near as Farke looks to strengthen his team. Ben Davies, a defender for Tottenham who is also open to joining the Championship team this month, is one of those being connected.

Bali Mumba of Plymouth, who had played for the Leeds boss at Norwich, is another player Farke is rumored to seek.
