Leeds United Manager Daniel Farke Addresses the Transfer Window Question

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has downplayed the possibility of his team being active in the upcoming January transfer window.

Following an amazing run, the Whites have slipped slightly, losing one and drawing one of their past two games.

They now have a huge encounter against promotion contenders Ipswich Town, who have a ten-point lead over Farke’s team.

That will be the first of four matches for Leeds United over the holiday season, and the German manager says that the priority will be on those games rather than the transfer market, which opens on January 1st.

“First and foremost, many points, and that is the most important topic.” “My focus is solely on the next four games,” Farke stated during a press conference.

“I had to talk a lot about potential transfers – incomings and outgoings.” I also mentioned in the last press conference that we need to have the best holiday season possible right now.

“Now we just have to be concentrated on this game, so let us just talk about all that stuff.”

Leeds are largely expected to try to sign a left-back next month, and there may possibly be departures, although Farke is keen to downplay the prospect of a busy transfer window.

“I can’t avoid talking about that stuff in January, so we’ll do it.” But I anticipate a rather quiet January period for us.

“Right now I am just focused on the games and not January.”

Farke has struggled to find a consistent left-back this season, and if the Whites do enter the market, all eyes will be on them.
