According to journalist Alan Nixon, Leeds United will face competition for Neco Williams from Dutch giants Feyenoord, who hope to sign the full-back on an initial loan.
The Liverpool academy graduate has struggled to find regular game time at Nottingham Forest this season, but he has appeared more frequently in recent weeks.
Leeds United are looking for a full-back to replace Djed Spence and Luke Ayling, although Forest are reportedly hesitant to sign Williams.
However, Feyenoord is now after Williams as well.
The Dutch giants want Williams to move to the Netherlands during this month’s transfer window.
Arne Slot’s team hopes Nottingham Forest will let them take the player on loan initially, with the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
It remains to be seen how Nottingham Forest will respond as interest in Williams grows.
