Leeds United Take a Transfer Position As Two Players Draw Interest In January

According to the Sunday Mirror, Leeds United will not let Joe Gelhardt and Ian Poveda leave in January without replacing them.

Gelhardt and Poveda are both on the outskirts of the Leeds squad under Daniel Farke, and their situation does not appear to be improving.

With the January transfer window only a few weeks away, the pair are already attracting interest from other clubs.

When the transfer window opens, Leeds may receive offers, but the Whites have a firm stance on both players.

Leeds will not let either player leave Elland Road unless replacements are found.

Farke is expected to look for another left-back in the January transfer window, but he may also need to look for attacking players.

Wigan Athletic academy graduate Gelhardt has struggled to overtake those ahead of him, while Poveda has gone unnoticed in many of Leeds’ games.

Both players may be interested in leaving Elland Road in search of regular game time in the second half of the season.
