Leeds United transfer rumours are all wrapped up.
On Thursday, January 4, 2024, here are the most recent Leeds United transfer rumours.
Hull and Leeds are interested in signing a Polish international.
Bartlomiej Dragowski, the goalkeeper for Spezia, is wanted by Leeds United and Hull City. Tutto Mercato claims as much.
It has also been reported that a number of unnamed French parties are keeping a careful eye on Dragowski’s predicament. The Poland international is poised to quit the Italian club in the next weeks, having struggled for playing time during the 2023/24 season.
Dragowski, who has been with them since 2022, has only appeared 13 times for Spezia this season. Spezia are currently sitting in 19th place in Serie B.
Between the sticks, Whites coach Daniel Farke has plenty of alternatives, including Illan Meslier, Karl Darlow, and Kristoffer Klaesson. Meslier’s three-match ban for his red card against Preston North End ends this weekend, but it’s unknown when Darlow will be able to play again after dislocating his thumb against West Bromwich Albion. Klaesson delivered a confident performance on his entire senior debut against Birmingham City on New Year’s Day.
Maximillian Wöber Update
Leeds United intend to hold negotiations with Borussia Monchengladbach about the future of Maximillian Wöber. The Austrian defender is presently on loan at Monchengladbach after joining Elland Road in January 2023.
He has established himself as a first-team regular for the Bundesliga club, starting all 15 games in which he has been available. Wöber’s loan deal with Monchengladbach, however, includes no option to buy clause, which means he will return to United at the end of the season.
According to gladbachlive.de, United and Monchengladbach are set to return to the bargaining table to sort out Wöber’s predicament.
