Leeds United’s chances of promotion are questionable as AI forecasts the Championship table.

According to the Opta Analyst predicted table, Leeds United has a good chance of returning to the Premier League, although it is by no means assured.

After being relegated from the top division in 2023, Daniel Farke‘s squad is presently in second place and is aiming to return to the Premier League. They have a 66.88% chance of becoming a member of England’s elite again.

Nonetheless, Sheffield United is the clear favorite to advance from the Championship. By the end of the 46th match, the leaders have a 75.98% chance of winning.

Burnley is the only team that can compete with the two Yorkshire teams. With a 41% possibility, Scott Parker‘s team, now in third place and just one point behind Leeds, is less likely to be celebrating at the end of the season.

Five more teams are still in the running for promotion to the Premier League, according to Opta‘s prediction. Watford, West Bromwich Albion, Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rovers, and Sunderland, on the other hand, have less than a 10% chance of finishing in the top two.

Many points are still up for grabs with half the season left. With teams bolstering their squads with talent and depth, the January transfer window may also change all of this.

Leeds supporters will be eager to see the players improve their performance away from home and maintain their strong home record. The Whites should be able to avoid the dreaded play-offs and celebrate a huge victory following their May match against Plymouth Argyle if they can accomplish that.

Predicted candidates for promotion:
1. Sheffield United, 75.98%

2. 66.88% for Leeds United

3. 41.00% for Burnley

4. 9.82% for Sunderland

5. 2.54% for Blackburn Rovers

6. 1.74% for Middlesbrough

7. 1.44% for West Bromwich Albion

8. Watford: 0.60%
