Leeds United will seek to get back on track against Queens Park Rangers this evening.
On Saturday, the Whites had their most poor performance of the season, losing 3-1 to Southampton.
Daniel Farke chose to start the same lineup that defeated Watford 3-0 seven days previously at St. Mary’s, which proved to be a mistake in retrospect.
As a result, Farke is expected to make changes this evening in order to keep his squad fresh, with another home fixture against Bristol City on the horizon at the weekend.
Goalkeeper
Illan Meslier is one of three Leeds players to have played every minute of every league game this season, and he retains his starting spot.
Defence
Farke must decide whether to start Sam Byram, as if he does, he will most likely be on the bench against Bristol City.
Farke may choose to put Byram on the bench this time around in order to give him more healing time, bringing in Luke Ayling at right-back and moving Jamie Shackleton to the left.
Man worth £11 million Joe Rodon is almost expected to replace Pascal Struijk at center-back, relegating Liam Cooper to the bench.
Midfield
Ethan Ampadu had his most unsatisfactory performance in a Leeds shirt on Saturday, but he remains vital at the heart of the midfield.
It is unclear who will join him; Glen Kamara was decent enough in a dismal team effort on Saturday, but Archie Grey and Ilia Gruev are both vying for the starting spot.
Gray returning to the starting lineup after two games on the bench would not be surprising.
Attack
Jaidon Anthony simply must come in for his first start after another solid cameo as a substitute at Southampton.
He should replace Dan James on the wing, moving Crysencio Summerville over to the right, with Georginio Rutter and Joel Piroe making up the rest of the attack.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Meslier; Ayling, Rodon, Struijk, Shackleton; Gray, Ampadu; Summerville, Piroe, Anthony; Rutter
