As Leicester City prepares for an important transfer window next summer, they may seek to compete with Premier League clubs for some signings.
The Portuguese newspaper Record today published a front-page report suggesting that numerous teams will have scouts at the cup match between Benfica and Sporting on Thursday night.
The majority of them are top-tier clubs, with Premier League representatives including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United.
Among them is Leicester City, which is definitely looking for prospective reinforcements in case they are promoted the next season.
For the time being, there is no clear indication of who the Foxes may be interested in, and they have not been linked to any players from those clubs in quite some time.
Nearly a year ago, speculations circulated that they were interested in Eagles midfielder Orkun Kökçü.
Record also includes a few names who may catch the scouts’ eye on Thursday.
