According to Italian newspaper Calciomercato, Liverpool may make an early attempt to capture Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners this summer.

This hasn’t prevented talk about them signing another midfielder, with Calciomercato reporting that they’ve already inquired about Koopmeiners.

Koopmeiners has primarily played in the offensive midfield position this season, although he can also play in the no. 6 and no. 8 positions when needed for his team.
