Luke Ayling of Leeds United is welcome back to 49ers stadium at Elland Road following the announcement

Luke Ayling’s decision to sign a loan with Middlesbrough has created the possibility of his eventual return to Leeds United, according to 49ers Enterprises CEO Paraag Marathe

Ayling, 32, will spend the remainder of the season on loan at The Riverside, it was confirmed on Wednesday, January 10. However, since his Leeds contract expires at the end of the current campaign, it appears like his eight-year tenure at Elland Road will be coming to an end.

Leeds chairman Marathe wrote a farewell note to the right-back, effectively confirming that as well.
But before leaving, the American billionaire promised to have Ayling back at Elland Road whenever the chance presented itself.

Marathe was cited on the Leeds official website as saying, “I’d like to thank Luke for everything he has done for Leeds United” (10 January).

“He is a model employee who consistently went above and above for the badge he proudly wore.

“Only his dedication to the Leeds community and our supporters, whose affection he has won over his tenure here, rivals his devotion to the club.

“I wish Luke luck on his next endeavor and assure him that he is always welcome back to Elland Road.”
Always glad to see you again

As we’ve been saying for a while, Ayling isn’t the same player he once was.

The former Arsenal right-back had an incredible Premier League season, and Marcelo Bielsa brought out the best in him in the Championship.

Ayling, like many other players, found it difficult to adjust to playing for managers like as Sam Allardyce, Javi Gracia, and Jesse Marsch following that first season in the top division.

Daniel Farke eventually lost faith in Ayling as a consistent starter, which makes sense given that the right-back hasn’t been in the German starting lineup since the team’s 1-0 victory against QPR on October 4.

Since then, he has only been used as a substitute and is frequently left off the matchday roster entirely or benched. Although it’s not quite the appropriate phrase, Ayling has stayed longer than he should have and ought to have left a long time ago. However, we wish him luck at Boro, and Elland Road is always happy to have him back, as Marathe adds.

Other Leeds United news: As conditions are arranged, this player who is leaving the team is offended by what Leeds supporters have to say about him.
