Man United blow as £30 million target agrees to join Tottenham – Report

We reported last night that Manchester United are ready to make an offer to capture Radu Dragusin from Genoa, but the latest update today is not good for the Red Devils.

According to today’s edition of Corriere della Sera, Tottenham are ‘one step’ away from signing the Romanian international during the January transfer window.

According to a well-known Italian media outlet, Dragusin has agreed to join Spurs and has already’said yes’ to them.

To complete the signing, the north Londoners must agree on a fee with the Italian club.

Genoa, according to CdS, is seeking a fee of £30 million (35 million euros) from the sale of their treasured asset.

Tottenham, on the other hand, has so far orally placed a bid worth 23 million euros. Napoli is also in the running, but they will not go above 20 million euros.

Man United sorely need to strengthen their defence this month, and it is a significant blow for them that a brilliant defender like Dragusin is on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur, who are already eight points ahead of them in the Premier League table.

The Red Devils must act quickly and enhance their squad during the winter transfer window, or their opponents will widen the gap even further.

We’ll keep you posted on how the transfer saga plays out.
