This summer, West Ham United may have a good chance of signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
Chelsea are expected to sell West Ham target Conor Gallagher during the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.Hammers manager David Moyes has bolstered his central midfield with the additions of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse.However, with Lucas Paqueta and Flynn Downes expected to depart, another midfielder will almost certainly be required. And it appears that West Ham will have a good chance of signing Chelsea’s Gallagher…
Conor Gallagher, a £50 million Chelsea player, could be on his way to West Ham, as Mauricio Pochettino wants him gone.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea want at least £50 million for the 23-year-old Englishman.According to the Telegraph, Pochettino wants to sell him this summer. Tottenham, on the other hand, are anxious to sign him, so Moyes will have to move quickly if he wants to get his man.Gallagher would be a terrific addition to the Hammers, and Moyes now has a great opportunity to sign him.
The 23-year-old possesses absolutely everything that Moyes looks for in a player – energy, stamina, top tier work ethic, athleticism and technical ability. The thought of Conor Gallagher lined up alongside Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse in West Ham’s midfield is an exciting prospect.Should Lucas Paqueta leave, we could do a lot worse than bringing in the Chelsea star. However, £50 million does seem to be a little bit steep for the Englishman. Perhaps somewhere closer to £40 million would represent good value for the Hammers.
