Millwall are to sign Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga on loan until the end of the season.
The Lions acted rapidly in the previous week to obtain the 24-year-old’s services.
Tanganga might join Joe Edwards’ side for training tomorrow.
England has capped the Hackney-born footballer at numerous underage levels, including the U21 level.
Tanganga had joined Bundesliga club Augsburg with the option to buy, but his tenure in Germany was cut short.
His style of play is sure to be popular with Millwall fans, as he explained to The Telegraph in 2021 how he brings aggression to the game.
Tanganga warned them: “Great players, their talent can truly hurt you. So my plan is to make sure I get after him. Don’t allow him any time, don’t give him the chance to raise his head and pass since he possesses the ability to do so.”
He has made over 50 appearances for Tottenham and has been with the club since the age of ten.
