Nottingham Forest defender Murillo has opened up about his three best mates within the first-team dressing room.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Reds from Corinthians this summer, has settled into life at the club seamlessly – with the Brazilian giving credit to Steve Cooper and his teammates. Murillo has already produced a Man of the Match performance in his second outing for the club, after a superb display in the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace before the international break.

Speaking in an interview with the club’s media ahead of the Luton encounter, Murillo admitted that his three best mates at the club are Felipe, Andrey Santos and Danilo.
“We always say that fellow Brazilians abroad are like family and that’s been my experience here. They helped me a lot when I arrived, especially Felipe who also played for Corinthians and we play in the same position, he’s been helping me a lot.”
“As he’s a more experienced player and has been at different clubs he gives me advice about what I need to do, he helps me a lot on the pitch. We giggle because Danny and Andrey are a little younger and more in line with my age. Brazilians are known for their good humor and constant laughter wherever they go. We truly are a family and enjoy a lot of fun together.”
“Hopefully, even if one of us moves on in the future, our friendship will endure and we will stay connected.” We enjoy going to lunch together and have a terrific friendship. We also miss our Brazilian meal a lot. I occasionally eat lunch at Danilo’s house, or we’ll get together for a cookout.
“We have a really good relationship.”
