‘New strategy’ for target and ‘near to agreement’ are the rumors surrounding Leeds United’s transfer.

Elland Road’s most recent transfer rumors as Leeds United prepares to make moves during the January transfer window.

Louie Barry, a young player from Aston Villa, has been linked to a number of clubs, including Leeds United.

Following a productive loan stint with Stockport County in the first part of the season, the England Under-18 international rejoined the Premier League team. Barry returned to the League One team in August after spending the previous season on loan. He went on to score 16 goals and dish out three assists in 24 games across all competitions, and it was generally anticipated that he would land his second loan move of the year before the January transfer window closed.

Leeds has reportedly expressed interest in the young player, although teams like Millwall, Sunderland, Sheffield United, and Middlesbrough are thought to be competitors. Unai Emery, the manager of Villa, has acknowledged that a decision on Barry’s future phase of development has not yet been taken.

“He trained with us and we are going to make a plan with him, an overall plan,” Emery said of Barry during his pre-game news conference prior to Friday night’s FA Cup third-round matchup with Premier League rivals West Ham United. He is, in my opinion, a really talented player who is making good progress. He’s been doing great while on loan. We may now work with him on a fresh plan.

He was scoring a lot of goals while on loan, so he got better. He only trained with us yesterday and today. Naturally, we will work with him to come up with a solid club plan.
In response to a question about whether Barry’s immediate future and the prospect of another loan stint away from Villa Park had been decided, Emery, the former Arsenal manager, only replied, “No.”

The Whites are nearing a striker loan arrangement.
Mergim Berisha, a striker for Hoffenheim, is reportedly nearing a long-term loan agreement with Leeds.

According to CaughtOffside, journalist Ben Heckner of Sky Sports has stated that the Whites are nearing an agreement to sign the twice-capped Germany international on an 18-month loan.

He has made 17 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring one goal and dishing out one assist. According to the article, there will be a chance to turn the loan into a permanent relocation.

However, as they aim to contend for a Champions League spot in the second half of the season, Werder Bremen is reportedly also considering a potential deal for Berisha.
