The Sun claims that Nottingham Forest is prepared to loan goalkeeper George Shelvey out during the January transfer window.
There is little likelihood that the 22-year-old goalkeeper will feature for the City Ground’s first squad this year. Shelvey has previously been on loan at Truro City, Wealdstone, and Mansfield Town in addition to Nottingham Forest.
Now that they believe the custodian needs another loan period to aid in his development, Forest wants to send him out on another one.
What level the Premier League team wants Shelvey to prove himself at in the upcoming season is yet unknown. Shelvey came up via Nottingham Forest’s development system, and the team is eager to see him advance.
Although the goalie hasn’t made his official Nottingham Forest debut yet, he has participated in this season’s Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy.
Shelvey saw action as a substitute in two Premier League games during the previous season, one each against Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur.
