“One of the sharpest players I’ve ever seen.” James Maddison is impressed with a Spurs player who hasn’t played since 2023

James Maddison has said that one of his Tottenham Hotspur teammates is one of the sharpest players he has ever seen, naming him as the club’s most skilled player.

James Maddison has unquestionably been a fantastic purchase for Tottenham. Maddison was probably one of the Premier League’s greatest performers before suffering an injury in early November.

Solomon has become something of a forgotten signing, with his most recent outing coming back in September. He had only made three starts before sustaining a knee injury.

Solomon’s return is still a few weeks away. And it is evident that Maddison believes it would be a significant boost for Tottenham, since he was asked to select the most skilled player in the ranks during an interview for the club’s official programme.

“In terms of actual skills, tricks and quick feet I’d probably say Manor Solomon, one of the sharpest players I’ve ever seen,” he went on to remark.

Spurs get a big boost when Manor Solomon returns.

The good news about Solomon is that he is only 24 years old. There is still of time for the winger to overcome his injury issues and demonstrate why Tottenham signed him in the first place.

During his time at Fulham, he demonstrated glimpses of his talent, including a stunning goal-scoring streak.

Spurs have enough depth to get by while he is absent. This will relieve some of the pressure on him as he approaches his homecoming. However, Maddison is confident that Solomon will have much to offer Postecoglou once he returns.
