Paul Merson and Chris Sutton have both made their predictions for Nottingham Forest vs. Tottenham in the Premier League this evening.
With a commanding performance in north London last weekend, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Newcastle United 4-1 to finally get back to winning ways. Spurs, who had only one point from their previous five Premier League games, secured all three points thanks to goals from Richarlison, Son Heung-min, and Destiny Udogie.
The team led by Ange Postecoglou will then return to play this evening when they visit Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. The Lillywhites defeated Forest twice in the previous season, 2-0 on the road and 3-1 in the rematch.
Paul Merson, a former player for Arsenal, made his predictions for the game prior to kickoff and supported Postecoglou and company to win all three points. “Steve Cooper was under so much pressure that Nottingham Forest played really defensively against Wolves last weekend—they just didn’t get going,” he stated in an interview with Sportskeeda.
“Considering their circumstances, they will set up like an away team even though they are playing at home, which will work to Tottenham’s advantage.
