SEN confirmed that they will broadcast every English Premier League game this year.
In Australia, all of Tottenham Hotspur‘s games under Ange Postecoglou will be live and free to watch.
According to SEN’s announcement, all of the 2023–24 English Premier League games will be aired on their website, radio station, and SEN App.
Following his success in Scotland, Japan, Australia, and a brief sojourn in Greece, Postecoglou last month became the first Australian manager to ever manage in the English Premier League.
To assist the Greek-Australian manager, SEN Chief Executive Craig Hutchinson is delighted to be a part of this exciting adventure.
He stated, “Ange is a particular character in Australian sport, and his amazing journey from the A-League to the Socceroos and, more recently, to Celtic, has enthralled us all.
“Ange takes a strong wave of Australian support with him everywhere he goes. We are happy to be a part of this exciting chapter as he assumes leadership at Tottenham, giving Australian football fans a platform to support Ange and share in every stage of his remarkable journey.
“We share in the joy of witnessing Ange’s success and the steadfast backing of the Australian football community that supports him at every turn,” the statement reads.
On Sunday, August 13, at midnight, when Brighton plays Luton Town and Newcastle United hosts Aston Villa, coverage of the current Premier League will start.
In Postecoglou‘s first game at the Spurs’ home stadium, the team defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1 in a friendly on Sunday. The Australian received a warm reception from the supporters.
The first half of the game, which ultimately resulted in a resounding victory, was considerably closer than the second and did not reflect the offensive play style of the new bosses.
He expressed disappointment and informed the media that more has to be done to promote his viewpoint.
He explained, “It’s not a reflection on the players; it’s just where we are.”
“I think we’re doing a lot of things more out of obedience to me than out of faith. We were just playing for a 1-0 lead in the final five or six minutes of the first half, which didn’t sit right with me.
“I don’t blame the players since they are now acting under my direction, but it proves to me that much more has to be done to get them to truly believe and act like the team we want them to.
We’ve been working together for four or five weeks, so that’s not surprising, but when I see stuff like that, it serves as a nice reminder to me that there’s still a ways to go.
