Tottenham are no longer interested in Max Kilman.
That is according to Ben Jacobs, who was speaking about the Wolves defender on The Debrief Podcast.
Kilman has been connected with Tottenham for over a year, but following a disappointing 2022/23 season, Spurs have abandoned the notion of signing the £30 million player at this time.
Instead, Jacobs claims Edmond Tapsoba, Micky Van de Ven, and Tosin Adarabioyo are alternatives, but Kilman is no longer being considered.
Kilman was not taken into account.
Jacobs revealed his knowledge of the defender.
“On the centre-backs, Fabrizio mentioned Tapsoba and Van de Ven as targets, and Adarabioyo at Fulham could also be a possibility.” They had previously investigated Max Kilman, but he is not now on their radar, although he is someone who is good under pressure and in tight places. “Perhaps it’s because he didn’t have as good a season last year as he did the year before,” Jacobs speculated.
The stock price has fallen.
It goes without saying that Max Kilman‘s stock price has plummeted in the last year.
He appeared like a star in the making during his breakout season with the Wolves, but he’s since cooled off.
To be honest, nobody at Wolves got much praise last season, but it appears that Kilman‘s poor play may have lost him the chance to join a large club.
If Kilman can get back on track this season, this transfer might be revived, but as things currently, he won’t be joining any of the major six teams any time soon.
