Radu Dragusin is open to contemplate leaving Tottenham and returning to Serie A.

Radu Dragusin would contemplate returning to Italy, although on loan, to increase his playing time, since he does not want to sit on the Tottenham bench.

According to Area Napoli, Radu Dragusin may consider leaving Spurs, even on a loan, before the summer. The Romanian centre-back has received minimal game time since joining Spurs in January, and he does not want to be on the bench when the new season begins.

Is Radu Dragusin interested in returning to Serie A?

Radu Dragusin worked hard to become the player he is now in Italy, and there are hints that Serie A is interested in the defender.

The Tottenham January signing is allegedly dissatisfied with his job under Ange Postecoglou, having spent significantly less time on the pitch than on the bench.

He does not want to be a replacement and is confident in his abilities to start games for Tottenham or anyone else. Tottenham fought hard to recruit Dragusin from Genoa in January, beating off Bayern Munich for the defender.

Dragusin, however, has been unable to break Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven’s relationship. However, by the conclusion of the season, Postecoglou had figured out a way to play all three.

Playing them all at once on the pitch may be too much for the Australian, and if that is the case, Dragusin will contemplate returning to Serie A.

According to the source, Dragusin may explore a loan move back to Serie A if it allows him to play consistently throughout the season. Napoli are interested in the Romanian, with former Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte on the verge of becoming their new manager. He wants to add at least two new centre-backs and is considering bringing in Dragusin.

Will Tottenham allow Dragusin to depart?

Given how hard Spurs fought to acquire Dragusin, for the defender to leave so swiftly would be unprecedented.

At the close of the season, the defender’s agent made some comments that indicated the player was somewhat unhappy with his status, but the club is preparing to hold talks with the center-back.

Tottenham, on the other hand, has all the cards, and as the team prepares to return to European football, Postecoglou will want depth in all positions. As a result, it is unlikely that the club will allow Dragusin depart, even on loan.
