Rangers news: Jose Mourinho lurks as Ianis Hagi makes a shocking claim

This summer, Rangers attacker Ianis Hagi has been linked to a move, with Jose Mourinho reportedly interested in signing him.

Earlier this season, the Romanian and the club were involved in a contractual issue, but it has since been settled, and he is now back in the starting lineup.

His future with the team is still unknown, though, because of connections to other European teams.

Ianis Hagi is not under contract with Fenerbahce.

On February 28, the Romanian news site Sportpesurse stated that there were rumors that Gheorghe Hagi had approved a possible transfer for his son with the Turkish team.

There is no firm information on Fenerbahce signing the 26-year-old, though, and that is not understood to be the case.
The move is reportedly non-starting because Hagi himself is not interested in joining Mourinho and since his father played for Fenerbahce’s opponents, Galatasaray.

The Gers winger is still being linked to leaving the team, and it’s not impossible that he will leave in the summer.

The San Francisco 49ers’ acquisition might persuade Ianis Hagi to remain with the Rangers.
Given that the San Francisco 49ers’ upcoming acquisition promises a revolutionary era for the team, Hagi might be persuaded to stay with the Gers.

As seen by Leeds United, the 49ers have a strong financial presence and a track record of reviving sports teams through their investment arm, 49ers Enterprises.

Rangers may receive a big financial boost as a result, allowing for infrastructural improvements and a squad reconstruction that might fulfill Hagi‘s aspirations as a vital player.

The 26-year-old Romanian winger has just found his form again, playing well in a left-wing position and possibly securing a key part in a revitalized squad.

The 49ers’ global commercial reach and data-driven hiring practices may increase the team’s competitiveness in Europe and give the Romanian a larger platform to display his skills.

The possibility of better conditions under the new, affluent owners could persuade him to sign a new deal.

If the takeover, which is anticipated by June, fulfills its promise of a better future at Ibrox, staying could be more in line with his desire for stability and success than transferring somewhere where he must prove himself.
