Lucas Bergvall, the new youngster at Tottenham Hotspur, believes that he has grown stronger and gained weight this season in preparation for his summer transfer to north London.
The 18-year-old is now playing for Djurgarden in Sweden, where he has contributed eight goals in seven games.

But his time in Sweden is about to come to an end since Tottenham, a team headquartered in London, has already agreed to buy him.
Tottenham put a lot of effort into overcoming Barcelona‘s fierce competition to get the 18-year-old.

And by building muscle and strength, Bergvall is already making every effort to get ready for the challenges of the Premier League.
“There has been a tremendous amount of leg work, both front and back, in the gym. All conceivable,” he stated to the Swedish newspaper Expressen.

“In general, I’ve grown more physical. I improve at tackling for the ball and engage in more duels.
“I feel like I’ve gotten even stronger this season. I’ve always run a lot and put on a lot of weight,” Bergvall continued.
Bergvall is anticipated to remain with Tottenham‘s first team squad for the upcoming season as opposed to being sent on loan.
