Pedro Porro, a Tottenham Hotspur defender, has been performing admirably at N17.
The 24-year-old joined Spurs on loan from Sporting Lisbon in January before signing a permanent contract for £39 million in the summer.
The Spain international has six assists in 15 Premier League appearances this season, four of which have come in Spurs’ last five games.
According to Bernabeu Digital, Real Madrid are increasingly disappointed at having lost Porro to Tottenham this year.
They were reportedly interested in signing the player for the ‘not very high amount’ that Spurs eventually paid for him.
The Real Madrid board, however, decided they were satisfied with Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez, allowing Tottenham to move in and sign Porro instead.
That has benefited Spurs, as he is now regarded as “one of the best right-backs in the world,” according to BD.
They say his performances for Tottenham have been spectacular,’ which is especially impressive given that he isn’t playing for one of Europe’s best clubs.
And, most importantly, it does not appear that Los Blancos will be attempting to sign Porro anytime soon. They reportedly believe making a move for him now is a “thing of the past.”

Tottenham have struck gold on several occasions in recent years. Spurs did well in signing players such as Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr in addition to Porro.
