Real Madrid has approached a Premier League manager about replacing Carlo Ancelotti next summer.

Real Madrid is already on the lookout for a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti, and one of their top targets in the Premier League has been identified.

Roberto de Zerbi and Carlo

President Florentino Perez has decided not to renew Carlo Ancelotti‘s contract, despite the fact that the Italian appears to be destined for the Brazil job in the first place.

Perez wants to replace Ancelotti with one of his countrymen. According to Sport, Perez wants to shake up the squad with the next appointment, and Los Blancos have made contact with Brighton and Hove Albion‘s Roberto de Zerbi.

Roberto De Zerbi

With a young squad, they believe de Zerbi is ideal for developing those younger players, and he has demonstrated that he is ready to take the next step in his career and compete for major titles. There is no denying that de Zerbi has grown in stature at Brighton.

According to the report, Endrick Felipe will arrive this summer, Kylian Mbappe is expected to be the star signing, and Head Scout Juni Calafat is close to finalizing deals for two more Brazilian stars. Negotiations with de Zerbi are in their early stages.

Xabi Alonso

De Zerbi was rumored to be an outside candidate for the Barcelona job during his time at Sassuolo several seasons ago, and Barcelona legend Pep Guardiola has been quick to praise de Zerbi since his arrival in the Premier League. For next summer, Real Madrid has been heavily linked with former player and Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso, but this is the first report of any actual contact with a potential new manager.
