Real Madrid plotting surprise move for £190k-a-week Tottenham star

Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly being tracked by Real Madrid.

They are aiming to bolster their attacking unit, and the South Korean international has piqued their interest in Madrid.According to Fichajes, Real Madrid is keeping a close eye on his progress and has indicated an interest in signing him.

The £190,000-per-week attacker is under contract with Spurs until 2025, and it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will make a play for him at the end of the season.

Son is already 31 years old, and he is unlikely to improve with age. Real Madrid should ideally seek out a younger forward with a greater ceiling.

There is no doubt that the South Korean is a world-class player in this day and age, and he has been an outstanding servant for Tottenham Hotspur since joining the club.

Son has five goals in seven games this season in all competitions and will seek to lead Tottenham back into the Champions League.

The 31-year-old is unlikely to be sold in the middle of the season, and Daniel Levy may seek a higher price for him at the end of the season.

Any player would be tempted to join Real Madrid, and it would be intriguing to see if the Spanish club can persuade the South Korean to join them.

There have been murmurs of a contract extension at the London club, so it will be interesting to see what the 31-year-old decides.
