Report: Tottenham to make a player-plus-cash deal to capture Inter Milan midfielder in the coming weeks.

Emerson Royal has been linked with a move away from Tottenham this summer, and according to the newest reports, Spurs intend to utilise him in a player-plus-cash deal.

According to Inter Live, Tottenham are interested in signing Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi.

This past season, the midfielder played a role for the Serie A team. He appeared in 32 league games, the majority of which came from the bench.

He still scored six goals and assisted four more. In 7 Champions League appearances for the Italians, he also scored once and assisted on three others. (Transfermarkt)

His performances piqued the interest of several clubs, including Tottenham, who are currently considering making a bid for him.

According to the report, Tottenham will make a €30 million player-plus-cash offer for the 24-year-old, including Emerson Royal, in the ‘coming few weeks’.

Inter Milan’s interest in Royal has been well publicised recently, and according to the report, they will be persuaded by Tottenham’s offer.

This will be a fantastic piece of business for Daniel Levy, who will not only get rid of a player who is not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans, but will also defeat significant competition from AS Roma and Atletico Madrid to sign a highly-rated midfielder.

Spurs will acquire Frattesi, a versatile midfielder who can play both centrally and offensively.
