requests for the suspension of a Tottenham player following a contentious social media post

Tottenham’s summer acquisition Manor Solomon has provoked outrage with a series of Instagram photos about the ongoing crisis between Israel and Palestine.

Last night, a hospital in Palestine was struck, killing over 500 innocent citizens, mostly physicians, women, and children, just days after Israel threatened to bomb the hospitals.

But Solomon‘s post sparked outrage when he accused Hamas of bombing its own people and blamed Israel for it.

He tweeted a photo of the explosion, along with a statement from Israeli troops claiming that the explosion at the Al Ahli hospital was caused by a failed rocket fire by a Palestinian resistance group.

He followed it up with numerous more posts, all of which were fairly outspoken in their support for the Israeli regime.

Fans were quick to call out the hypocrisy, as several Muslim players had already been suspended by their respective teams for their support of the Palestinian people against the aggression.

One fan called for the player to be cut from the Spurs’ roster on X.

Several others noted the double standard displayed in the reaction to messages from gamers in support of Palestine and those in support of Israel.

Anwar El Ghazi, a former Aston Villa and Everton player, has been punished for his Instagram post in support of Palestine.

Similarly, Bayern Munich issued a statement denouncing their player Noussair Mazraoui‘s pro-Palestine post and calling for an investigation.

Flashfootballnews Opinion:

So far, a large number of innocent people have died as a result of the battle. How many more individuals must perish? Here’s wishing for global peace and the triumph of humanity!
