Richarlison was quite pleased with a 20-year-old Tottenham player after the match against West Ham.

After their preseason friendly against West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison was really pleased by Pape Matar Sarr.

The 20-year-old midfielder shared a photo on Instagram after participating for 45 minutes in the team’s opening summer match.
Ange Postecoglou, the manager, selected two very different squads to take against West Ham, a Premier League foe, yesterday.
The team that Postecoglou may use in the league starting next month was more closely represented in the first half.

Dejan Kulusevski and recent addition Manor Solomon surrounded Harry Kane as he received the captain’s armband.

That squad, however, trailed 2-0 at the half, and Tottenham‘s supposedly backup players were given the opportunity for the last 45 minutes.
As Tottenham attempted a comeback, Richarlison positioned up next to Pape Matar Sarr, scoring two goals in short succession via Giovani Lo Celso and Destiny Udogie.
West Ham‘s Gianluca Scamacca ultimately scored the game’s winning goal, but Postecoglou would have found plenty of reasons to be pleased over the first 90 minutes.

Sarr, Richarlison‘s teammate at Tottenham, made an impression.
The 20-year-old did not add a message to a photo of himself playing against West Ham.

Richarlison responded with a fire emoji in response to the small boy’s obvious admiration, and Emerson Royal gave him the loving moniker “Papinho.”

Since joining Tottenham from Metz two years ago, Pape Matar Sarr has had trouble making an impression on the team.

Before Antonio Conte made the decision to keep him last season, he promptly returned to the French club on loan for a year.

He had to wait months before making his competitive debut, and he spent the most of his time on the bench.

He was unfortunate to be benched following his excellent performance for Spurs against AC Milan in the Champions League.

In addition, Sarr was the unfortunate victim sacrificed in Tottenham’s disgraceful loss to Newcastle last season in order to insert Davinson Sanchez.

Richarlison obviously admires Sarr greatly and wants to see him thrive at Tottenham.

This summer, he was rumored to be moving back to France, but considering his potential, Spurs would be foolish to let him go at this time.
