ROMANO SAYS SPURS DEAL IS ‘ALL SEALED’ FOR WONDERKID

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to sign Hajduk Split defender Luka Vuskovic, despite the fact that he is not eligible to play until 2025.

An deal has been reached between Tottenham Hotspur and Croatian wonderkid Luka Vuskovic. According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have ‘finished the arrangement’ to sign Vuskovic. Just two weeks ago, Romano broke the report that Tottenham was close to signing Vuskovic.

Spurs were said to have rushed in to beat out the competition for Vuskovic, and a deal is now in place. Tottenham has handed Luka Vuskovic the ‘here we go’ signal. According to Romano, Tottenham and Vuskovic have reached an agreement.

According to reports, the transaction between Tottenham and Hajduk, as well as Spurs and Vuskovic, is now “all sealed.”

Vuskovic will join Tottenham in 2025, according to Romano, thus he may stay at Hajduk until then rather than being leased elsewhere.

Due to post-Brexit laws, Premier League clubs are unable to sign foreign players under the age of 18.

Vuskovic is only 16, so he will have to wait a few years before he can play for Tottenham – but what a show of faith from Tottenham.

Tottenham has made a significant acquisition in Vuskovic.

Vuskovic has emerged as a top wonderkid, having debuted for Hajduk at the age of 16.

Earlier this month, Romano revealed on the Here We Go podcast that a number of other clubs were interested in Vuskovic.

Vuskovic was reportedly courted by Manchester City but ultimately decided to join Tottenham.

90 minutes suggested that Barcelona and Bayern Munich had also held conversations, but the adolescent made it plain that Tottenham was the club for him.

Beating those clubs to a signing is huge for Tottenham, particularly for a wonderkid like Vuskovic, who has the potential to become a superstar.
