“Scary”… Anthony Elanga and Orel Mangala rave about the player following Nottingham Forest’s 3-1 triumph.

After Nottingham Forest’s victory over Newcastle today, Anthony Elanga and Orel Mangala showered Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood with praise. The 32-year-old returned to his old squad with the match ball in his arms for the first time since departing.

Wood, a 32-year-old striker, made it four goals in three days with an incredible hat-trick. He found the net with skill tonight after scoring in Saturday’s 3-2 loss to Bournemouth.

Forest forward Wood was the talk of the team thanks to an incredible performance, according to Stuart Pearce. In his ninety minutes on the pitch, he received accolades for his composure and intelligence.

After the game, the talisman shared on Instagram about his pride and his three goals throughout the match. In fact, he might have scored more because Elanga failed to find him on a couple of occasions.

Following Forest’s triumph, Elanga and Mangala wax poetic about the attacker.

Elanga took credit for two of Wood’s goals as an assist. On the stroke of halftime, he squared the ball to give Wood a tap-in, and later in the second half, he produced an incredible pass to put the striker through.

Elanga gushed over Forest Man Wood’s performance on Instagram. Simply pointing to his two assists, he described the two players’ link-up play as “scary.”

Mangala did not play in this afternoon’s victory over Newcastle as a substitute. After a difficult run of games, he was given a break, and all he posted was, “Woodsyyyyy!”

As the athlete accepted the praise for his bravery, Neco Williams, Ibrahim Sangare, and Odysseas Vlachodimos also shared posts on his social media accounts.

Throughout Forest’s triumph, Wood was radiant.

The attacker is starting to prove to those who mistrust him that he is capable. Not only did Wood contribute significantly to the defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday, but he also scored an amazing hat-trick this afternoon.

Wood scored just one goal throughout the second half of the previous campaign. During that period of success, his performances were criticised naturally, and for the most part, rightly so.

This season, he already seems like a different player. Wood scored in Forest’s home opener against Sheffield United to give him seven goals for the year.
