Leeds United are ready to add a central midfielder, left-back and striker as part of a transfer next summer, sources tell Football Insider.
The Whites have already signed Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Karl Darlow and Sam Byram since being relegated from the Premier League in May.
However, many key players have also left the club, including last season’s top scorer Rodrigo Moreno, who joined Qatar.
That’s why Leeds have made their list of top target strikers, with Patrick Bamford currently sidelined by injury.
Football Insider announced on Friday (August 18) that Norwich City forward Josh Sargent is eyeing a move for the Whites. Manager Daniel Farke signed the USA international during his time at Carrow Road and is now looking to reunite with the 23-year-old.
Meanwhile, Farke‘s priority has also been the acquisition of a central midfielder, and Tyler Adams remains a possibility of leaving.
Football Insider reported on Tuesday (August 15) that Bournemouth have overtaken Brighton in the race to sign Adams.
The USA international is currently plagued with injuries and another injury is causing panic among Leeds players. Junior Firpo is still sitting at the treatment table.
Firpo could be out until mid-September, with a young Leo Herde now joining the squad. That’s why Leeds want to add another left-back to their summer deal.
Farke‘s side have picked up just one point from their first two league games since being relegated to the Premier League.
The Yorkshire Giants face West Brom next Friday (18 August).
