According to Football Insider, Tottenham target Trevoh Chalobah is not in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans at Chelsea.
By assuring the 24-year-old that he would not play a crucial role for his side in the future, the Blues manager has opened the way to a possible January transfer to Spurs.
Tottenham are interested in signing Chelsea defender Chalobah in January, according to Football Insider, who reported on Sunday (12 November).

Bayern Munich is also rumoured to be interested in the centre-back.
Chalobah has yet to play a single minute for Chelsea in the 2023-24 season, with injury severely limiting his participation.
Tottenham have also been hampered by injury, with summer signing Van de Ven expected to be sidelined until the new year after suffering a hamstring strain.
A transfer for Chalobah might assist both sides of London’s heated rivalry.

Chelsea would like to add custodian and forward acquisitions in the January window, but they do not currently have any Financial Fair Play buffer.
Chalobah, 24, is a product of the club’s academy and, if sold, would be regarded pure profit on the Blues’ books.
He signed a new contract with Stamford Bridge less than a year ago and is under contract until June 2028.
The former England Under-21 international made 33 appearances for Chelsea last season and has appeared 63 times for the Blues in total, scoring four goals and assisting once.
