Before the year ends, Amanda Staveley hopes to purchase stock in Tottenham.
For a while now, Daniel Levy has been seeking for an investor. The chairman of the North London team wants to make sure Spurs keep growing in a similar way, and in order to do so, he needs to raise additional funds. He is looking for a new investor who can support and share his vision for the club in addition to contributing new funds.
“Amanda is serious about being involved with Spurs, and is hoping that an initial purchase
can be completed within weeks,” a source close to the negotiations told Mirror.
Even while they have been in discussions with a number of parties, nothing substantial has happened thus far. But according to a Mirror article, a significant development appears to be occurring. Amanda Staveley is interested in acquiring a minority share in Tottenham. She assisted in arranging Saudi Arabia‘s Public Investment Fund’s £305 million acquisition of Newcastle United. In addition to her spouse Mehrdad Ghodoussi, she was a key member of the Magpies board. However, they had a difficult exit and are now thinking about going back to the Premier League. Her goal is to open her own club, and she is hoping to accomplish so with the assistance of some Middle Eastern investors by purchasing a portion of the North London club. Because it will give him more control over the club, Levy will undoubtedly be interested in Staveley’s goal of finishing it before the year ends.

As a result of his shares being kept in a family trust, Joe Lewis’s influence has been waning. Therefore, it would appear that a new minority owner is a much-needed adjustment. It is possible that Staveley and her husband are in advanced talks about making an interest in the team because they were guests at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when they hosted Brentford.
