Spurs are “seriously considering” spending €35 million to sign Manchester United’s outcast.

Tottenham Hotspur is “seriously considering” acquiring Jadon Sancho, a Manchester United misfit.

Unexpectedly, Tottenham Hotspur has emerged as a possible suitor for Jadon Sancho, the outcast of Manchester United.

Since calling Erik ten Hag a liar following the Red Devils‘ Premier League loss to Arsenal earlier this season, the England international has been expelled from Erik ten Hag‘s team. He hasn’t apologised yet, and it appears that the club isn’t where his future is at.

Jadon Sancho

Spurs are’seriously considering’ a move for the 23-year-old, who is reportedly valued at €35 million, according to Fichajes. Sancho is no longer with Manchester United, but life goes on.

Considering that they have already dropped five games this season, they aren’t exactly doing all that well. But Ten Hag‘s preferred options down the flanks are Antony, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Facundo Pellistri.

Steps to take?

It’s arguable that Sancho’s stock has never been cheaper in recent memory. Because of his success at Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United paid a whooping £73 million to sign him in 2021.

Jadon Sancho

Spurs stand a good chance of acquiring this extremely gifted player. Naturally, Ten Hag‘s story demonstrates that, particularly when he isn’t getting enough playing time, he can be a difficult character to control in the locker room.

Could this be an issue as a result? Our captain is Son Heung-min, and our star player down that right flank is Dejan Kulusevski. However, Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic‘s injuries have shown that we need more depth on the wings.

Jadon Sancho

Furthermore, since we didn’t sign a replacement for Harry Kane specifically, Richarlison can now be used as a No. 9. While Perisic isn’t exactly getting any younger, Bryan Gil hasn’t exactly made an impression here.

Sancho, 23, is a promising new addition. Astute man-manager Ange Postecoglou would have conducted the required background checks and scouting to bring the English winger on board if he had chosen to sign the former Manchester City youth player.

For a full England international who has not yet reached his prime, the aforementioned fee also appears to be reasonable. At that price, there’s hardly any reason not to move for him.
