Tottenham are planning another raid on Aston Villa, this time for their recruitment chief.
Tottenham are now in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Villa’s recruitment chief Rob MacKenzie.
According to Football Insider, the league leaders are ‘working on a deal’ to bring the MacKenzie back to the club.
Johan Lange will begin his role as sporting director on November 1st, and Spurs hope to reunite him with MacKenzie.
Since the summer, there have been only positive changes. The appointment of Ange Postecoglou, who came in and immediately changed the mood at the club, was a brilliant decision.
And all of this points to a positive shift at the club. It has also been suggested that Levy will refrain from getting involved in football matters and will allow the new personnel to flourish in their roles.
With the club leading the league and yet to be defeated, everything appears to be going well. Tottenham fans have reason to be optimistic about their team’s future.
