InterLive. It is the latest publication to report on Tottenham’s pursuit of Copenhagen sensation Roony Bardghji, saying that Ange Postecoglou is pushing the Premier League club’s interest in the player.
Bardghji is having a breakout season in the Danish capital, having scored 11 goals in all competitions thus far.
The versatile attacker, who can play as a winger, number nine, or attacking midfielder, has drawn particular attention in the Champions League, with various publications reporting in the last week that Spurs are keeping a watch on him (90 minutes).
Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in Roony Bardghji, according to InterLive. While reporting on the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of Bardghji, it has now also mentioned Tottenham’s interest in the midfielder.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is said to be interested in the attacker, stating that the Serie A club has a solid relationship with the CAA base, which represents the Copenhagen star.
According to the report, Tottenham, Napoli, and Juventus are among the clubs envying for Bardghji’s signing.
However, the North London team is concerned about whether Bardghji has the physical stature required to succeed in the Premier League.
Finally, InterLive claims that a bid of roughly €10 million (£8.6 million) is required to persuade Copenhagen to part ways with the Sweden Under-21 international.
Spurs Online Opinion
Even if Spurs are genuinely exploring a move for Bardghji, I believe Postecoglou and co see him as a player for the future rather than someone who would immediately enhance their first team.
I wouldn’t be shocked if Tottenham considers signing the adolescent and loaning him back to Copenhagen, as they have done in the past with Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr.
