Meanwhile, Dragusin’s agent has expressed concern about his client’s lack of playing time at Spurs, hinting at a possible departure if the situation does not improve. Despite a transfer fee of £21.5 million, Dragusin has only started two Premier League games since entering in January.

The agent, speaking to Radio CRC [reported by Calcio Napoli], attacked manager Ange Postecoglou’s defensive stance, claiming that Dragusin’s abilities may help strengthen Tottenham’s backline.

“The coach has often stated that he does not want to play three (at the back); he knows better, yet he concedes a lot of goals for Tottenham.

“Playing with three gives you greater confidence that you will not concede too many goals. Tottenham concede a lot of goals from set pieces, thus I believe Dragusin will find a place in the future because Tottenham needs his force.

“If he doesn’t play we’ll have to think of other solutions.”

However, he admitted that it is still early days since Dragusin’s arrival and advised patience before contemplating other choices.
